both of these songs were written during the summer of 2017 about people whom i care for deeply. they were recorded and produced by Nicholas Neve, in the basement of a house that holds my heart in its walls. hope you enjoy listening :-)

On our night hikes with all the weed and booze / we would swing on the swings through the midnight hues / under a starry sky i felt so high / as time stood still for us all / and my shoes were muddy and my brain was fuzzy / as dawn broke on top of the hill / but as morning came i felt no shame for the things that we'd done before / our days were filled with the time we killed taking bong rips and playing cards / and on a couch-cushion throne i found my home in this room with these people i love / and i know in time they'll leave and find the places where they're meant to go / but I know we'll stay together as we go wherever in our hearts and in our souls
